Procedure for people to apply for CUIT online

People who have an Argentine ID and CUIL or CDI, as of October 17, 2018 can apply for the CUIT online without obligation to attend the AFIP.

For this purpose, the following information must be entered into the AFIP website with CUIL or CDI and Tax code level 2 or higher:

• Tax residence
• Real address
• Email address and phone number
• DNI digital file
• Face color photography
• Proof supporting the address

The system will validate the information entered and the CUIT will be generated. In case of inconsistencies, the request will be rejected, informing the taxpayer of the reasons.

In these cases, the AFIP will not require photo, signature and fingerprint to declare activities and the registration in taxes.
